Well, let's bring this thing up to date on recent events (and not that recent events too).
I haven't updated since my first post here because I've been very distracted with trying to cool down the terrible tempers of a friend with a bad case of unrequited love. I've been dragged almost every day to coffee shops, almost all the Odeon cinemas within a fifty mile radius of my apartment, or surprise trips to the coast, only to be cried upon and told how unfair the world is. Then when she took everything way too far and did something seriously stupid I had to be there for her, out of some twisted sense of loyalty. I've been in Portsmouth for most of last week, doing mainly tourist-y type stuff (e.g. visiting aquariums, harbours, the Spinnaker tower, museums, shopping...) and am currently resting up in London for the drive home tomorrow (which I am dreading in a very big way).
And, all of this stuff that's happened put together took up so much of my time that I haven't even had a chance to go abroad this summer :(

On a side note:

hello LJ and welcome to the journal of an insane student who goes by the nickname of Ling. Nothing special :/

Firstly, I'd like to point something out which I am asked quite a lot: I am of the male persuasion, apparently also known as: ape, beefcake, boy, bruiser, buck, bull, chap, dude, father, fellow, gent, gentleman, guy, he, he-man, hunk, jock, john, macho man, papa, stud, tiger, tom, and wolf... according to Thesaurus.com anyway :P

Anyway, more about me now I guess. My current favourite band is The GazettE, their music is streaming from my iPod/computer/car speakers whenever possible (the car one is actually not so much, all I can think while in a driving is what to release, press or flick next and I can't multitask for shit so I usually have no music on unless I'm parked XD).
I'm a British-born Thai and go to visit my friends and grandparents there every two-or-so years, it's much nicer there than it is in England but I can't really waste my parent's money going every year.
Some of my hobbies include reading, sketching, taking snapshots of friends and places, listening to music, travelling, writing, drinking coffee, making pointless things, and maybe swimming.

If you'd like to contact me, email or add citizens.arrest@hotmail.com :)
